Where: Roka Akor in Scottsdale Details: The Valentine’s Day Menu will feature 5 different courses, beginning with Bay Scallops served with Black Tobiko and Frantoio Olive Oil. Lobster Tartare will accompany the fresh scallops, as well as Sudachi Citrus and Plantain Chips. Diners will be able to nosh on Roka Akor’s acclaimed sushi during course number two, the chef’s premium sashimi selection. Enoki Mushroom Tempura with Duck Tensuyu, followed by Bison Short Ribs with Braised Daikon, will comprise course number three. After an Intermezzo consisting of Aged Artisan Vinegars, the fourth course will feature Yuzu-Miso marinated Black Cod with pickled red onion. The fifth and final course will showcase Roka Akor’s Prime Niman Ranch Ribeye with Wafu dressing, accompanied by wild boar bacon with crispy Brussels sprouts. No meal would be complete without dessert, which will conclude the dining experience with a delicious flourless chocolate torte with salted-raspberry-cashew ice cream. Cost: $98 per person.
